A cultural icon who famously dressed up as Santa Claus for many years around Goa at festivals, hotels, etc also always supported both the Bonderam's on Divar Island wearing exotic costumes. He was also a president of St Mathias Sports Club for a few years and initiated my changes.

He is credited in bringing hockey to the Island of Divar with his friends in the early 70's and in later years he has been culturally active be it at carnival or Bonderam. The Cashew apple is a familiar sight in goan villages during the months of April and May. When its ripe it's reddish or yellow in colour. The fruit is consumed with a dash of salt and the nuts are very popular. A famous goan beverage locally known as Feni and Urrack is made from the cashew apple. There is also a festival dedicated to it in the month of April called the Cajuchem Fest
